An Apologetic Post

I originally created this blog to keep in touch with loved ones as I move and grow through life (or rather, for those I love to keep up with me, I suppose).  However, I have clearly failed to update this blog for several months. 

As a teacher, I blame my lapse on end of the year craziness.
As a wife, I blame it on the fact I've spent the last 7 weeks following my husband across the state of Texas.
In general, maybe I've just been to lazy busy recuperating from the school year to buckle down and post.  Despite the reasoning, I apologize for the delay! 

The next several posts will be a series of updates on the last several months of my life.  My summertime resolution is to hop back into the blogesphere!
